Little House in the Big Woods

My class is doing a unit on Little House in the Big Woods. We made a classroom quilt and I brought in my quilts from my Gramma to show the class. They really got into making it and did an exceptional job. Not only was it a fun project but a great lesson in measurement, geometry, and learning more about the pioneer lifestyle. I love it when it all comes together! :)

It looks beautiful! It even gives me ideas for next year in the classroom. We're studying geometry too, but our unit is an Africa unit. How many weeks do you have left in the classroom? Did you enjoy being the fulltime teacher?

Wow, that is really cool! So they made that all... very fun! So when is your last day of school? Is it later in June or earlier?
Also, did you guys decide where you are going to be moving after summer school? I know you said the Brown Deer area, right? Or is it some where else?! I can't remember for some reason!

Brookfield! I knew it started with a B :) Anyways, that is very exciting!!! I hope that you go one of those two towns, then we would be somewhat close to each other!!! YAY!!
I totally agree about it being a crazy time, we are in the same boat. We will see what I end up doing, it's so crazy not knowing at all! We also will be moving the first day/week of August! We will teach summer school until end of July, go on a family vacation and then move... Crazy!!!!! :)
Good luck with everything! VERY exciting stuff!
talk to you soon!
