First Run...

Kyle and I went on our first outdoor run as a married couple today! :) I decided to document the occasion! It was fun...kind of. The progression of my feelings went from excited to do this, thinking it would not be a problem, to hating Kyle for talking to me during such pain, to happiness at how good my body felt. I have not went on an outdoor run for a long time because of the handy elliptical that the University has. I could easily go for 30 minutes on the elliptical and was about to die going on a run outdoors. But I felt the pounds melting off! (I wish!)
17 DAYS til Graduation! :)

Little House in the Big Woods

My class is doing a unit on Little House in the Big Woods. We made a classroom quilt and I brought in my quilts from my Gramma to show the class. They really got into making it and did an exceptional job. Not only was it a fun project but a great lesson in measurement, geometry, and learning more about the pioneer lifestyle. I love it when it all comes together! :)
(5 students are missing from the class picture)

He Passed...

Kyle passed the MPA exam! WOOHOO That means he will graduate with his Masters in Professional Accountancy(I think that would be how you say it) on May 16th. Next step is taking the four parts of the CPA exam and THEN he will be done with all this testing! Well, as far as I know. :) We were excited that he passed...thanks for those prayers!

One month from today we will be graduated! EXCITING!

We are obviously married...

Hi! I know I just posted yesterday but Kyle and I had a very "married" moment today. On my way home from school, Kyle called me and asked me to pick up some cheese for fajitas. I said sure and after I hung up with him I remembered the list that was on the counter, we needed sandwich bags and fajita seasoning. So, I got to the store bought 3 seasoning packets (they were on sale), sandwich bags, the cheese he asked for, and a splurge item...Simply Lemonade. I got home and Kyle started laughing because earlier in the day he had went to the store and got 3 seasoning packets(they were on sale), sandwich bags, and a splurge item...Snapple Ice Tea. Interesting that both of our splurge items were beverages. :) We laughed about this for quite awhile! The joys of married life. I hope it made you smile!

Easter and Brewers Game

We had a really great Easter weekend. We got back to the Port/Grove area on Thursday night and went to Scott and Beth's for dinner and colored eggs. It is always a blast being with them and we are very thankful that they take us in when we come home. :) Friday was spent getting ready for the Easter gathering at the Peterson household and I went to The Hannah Montana Movie with Josh and Mariah. It was good...I am not going to lie and I am not ashamed! Ha Ha On Saturday we spent the day with Dieringer's. I had a fabulous time playing outside with Caden in the morning. Eric, Carol, Nate, Dustin, Kyle, and I went to the Brewers vs. Cubs game! It was great fun and Kyle was in heaven!!! Again, great hanging out with people that we LOVE to be with. It was also fun to be outside for almost the entire day. Sunday was Easter! We went to church and it was just so great to worship on such a special day. I am so thankful for the gift Jesus gave us. We spent the day at the Peterson's with the Nicewanders and more Peterson's. It was great fun catching up with everyone and eating! It was a great weekend. Thanks to everyone we spent time with! Have a great week! Enjoy the pictures! (Gramma K...I am talking to you and I will post pictures of your classroom quilt when it is finished!)

Kyle Made Dinner

Kyle made his first full dinner tonight and was very proud of himself. He wanted a picture on the blog. It is always a great treat when Kyle starts dinner before I leave school. God must have told him that he should do it tonight cause I was just exhausted and planning on picking up Subway. :) He did a very good job. It was a Meatball Sub Casserole, Kyle chose the meals for this week and this was one of the new recipes. It was good but I have already chose some new things to make it my own in the future.

We have been busy this week. Kyle has the MPA exam on Saturday. He needs to complete this to graduate. You can pray for him to do well. I have been teaching a lot more and the days go so fast at school. Only 42 days until graduation, thanks to Naomi I know that. :) It is very exciting, but it has not sunk in yet because we have been so overwhelmed with other things. And I have a month of school after I graduate! But that last month will FLY! I really cannot imagine having to move out of this place in May. We are going to be busy.

GOOD LUCK TO BETH AT HER INTERVIEW TOMORROW! :)

Have a great, relaxing weekend, my loves!
