10 Months
Ok, it feels like just yesterday that I did the 9 month post. This month flew by. We spent most of month 9 with family and now we are back home enjoying lots of Cole and mommy time! This month it almost seems like Cole is "getting it"... haha, or that he just kind of understands things that I say. Here we go...
Wearing 6-9 month clothing still...had to put away lots of 6 month clothing. I suppose it was time!
Eating everything. LOVES watermelon and animal crackers. Enjoys mashed potatoes and grilled cheese too.
He has been drinking alot! Like extra formula bottle in the day. His 4:00 bottle is now whole milk...I decided to start introducing.
He is back to sleeping through the night after 3 weeks of traveling. Thank God!
He plays the so big game now!
He has started to scream during dinner time. Not scream because he is upset, scream as if he is having a conversation. I should probably stop this behavior soon. :)
He gives hugs and kisses now.
He lays on a pillow or blanket and looks at us until we say, " night, night!"
He loves the game, "I'm going to get you..." and fast crawls all over the apartment while we chase him.
Loves pool time...we have went quite a few times in the past few weeks. Originally he liked to float in his raft but now he likes to be bouncing and swimming with us. He kicks as if he can swim!
He is such a boy...when digging through his toy box he always pulls out the balls and trucks.
He loves to crawl over things, like our bodies when we are laying on the floor.
We took our first family pictures and he didn't put on the cheese like usual...but they are still cute!
We did our first art project with paint, thanks to Auntie Mariah.
Cole plays peek a boo...and he is the one hiding!
He says bubba when it is time for his bottle.
He enjoys sharing now, like his nuk and food...occasionally.
He loves Nala and her bones...we have taught Nala to gently take the bone from Cole's hand. She does a great job of it now. It is still taking her time to get used to Cole.
We have had many swimming play dates...great summer activity! I now have him scooting off the edge to "jump" into my arms!
Twins!
I finally found the kid channel. He isn't that interested, maybe for 2 minutes at a time.
He is into everything...keeps me active!
Can you see why I think he is getting it now? He is so interactive! This is a super fun age! I can't believe Cole is going to be 1 in 2 months! I mean, holy cow, that year went really fast! We are going to soak up our last weeks of summer together before school starts.

I'm so glad that you were able to spend these past two months with Cole. They are so fun because, you are right, "they get it". Time goes by so fast.
