Best Buds
I adore this picture! Ethan and Cole are being forced by their mothers to be best buds. I think they are okay with it. This picture gets me so excited for the future; playing baseball in Dieringer's backyard, camping trips, waterparks, mischief, sleepovers, etc. I just KNOW they are going to get into some trouble and when they are the age that we are all at now....we will be thinking it is so funny! It is just so fun to watch these two become friends...even if they don't know it yet! :)

10 Months
Ok, it feels like just yesterday that I did the 9 month post. This month flew by. We spent most of month 9 with family and now we are back home enjoying lots of Cole and mommy time! This month it almost seems like Cole is "getting it"... haha, or that he just kind of understands things that I say. Here we go...
Wearing 6-9 month clothing still...had to put away lots of 6 month clothing. I suppose it was time!
Eating everything. LOVES watermelon and animal crackers. Enjoys mashed potatoes and grilled cheese too.
He has been drinking alot! Like extra formula bottle in the day. His 4:00 bottle is now whole milk...I decided to start introducing.
He is back to sleeping through the night after 3 weeks of traveling. Thank God!
He plays the so big game now!
He lays on a pillow or blanket and looks at us until we say, " night, night!"
He loves the game, "I'm going to get you..." and fast crawls all over the apartment while we chase him.
Loves pool time...we have went quite a few times in the past few weeks. Originally he liked to float in his raft but now he likes to be bouncing and swimming with us. He kicks as if he can swim!
He is such a boy...when digging through his toy box he always pulls out the balls and trucks.
He loves to crawl over things, like our bodies when we are laying on the floor.
We took our first family pictures and he didn't put on the cheese like usual...but they are still cute!
We did our first art project with paint, thanks to Auntie Mariah.
Cole plays peek a boo...and he is the one hiding!
He says bubba when it is time for his bottle.
He enjoys sharing now, like his nuk and food...occasionally.
He loves Nala and her bones...we have taught Nala to gently take the bone from Cole's hand. She does a great job of it now. It is still taking her time to get used to Cole.
We have had many swimming play dates...great summer activity! I now have him scooting off the edge to "jump" into my arms!
Can you see why I think he is getting it now? He is so interactive! This is a super fun age! I can't believe Cole is going to be 1 in 2 months! I mean, holy cow, that year went really fast! We are going to soak up our last weeks of summer together before school starts.
- He has started to scream during dinner time. Not scream because he is upset, scream as if he is having a conversation. I should probably stop this behavior soon. :)
He gives hugs and kisses now.
Twins!
I finally found the kid channel. He isn't that interested, maybe for 2 minutes at a time.
He is into everything...keeps me active!

What does the bear say?
The video I wanted to post was erased on accident so this is the one to watch. Just another moment in Cole's life. :)
Cole is extrememly successful with the sippy cup now! He would rather be independent with his bottle too but that takes away the snuggle time so it doesn't happen! :)

9 Months!
This month we have seen signs of Cole becoming a little boy. From little screaming fits to mimicking with us at the dinner table to playing on his own. It is amazing how fast the 9 months has went but THANK GOD, we have all summer together!

9 Month Highlights
- Cole is still wearing 6-9 month clothing. He weighs abouot 18 pounds and is starting to "thin out" from all his movement.
- His favorite song is Itsy Bitsy Spider.
- He crawls EVERYWHERE and is INTO EVERYTHING! He does a fast crawl when he is excited to get somewhere.
- He pulls himself to a standing position all the time. He has takes steps in between two people on his own. He loves to "run" with the help of an adult friend!
- He has learned to fall gracefully!
- His favorite foods include blueberries, bananas, cheese, and he enjoyed some of my dumplings from my chicken dumpling soup.
- His favorite snack is the graduates cheeto puffs....he loves them and will pick them off his tray when there is a combo of food.
- He eats mostly table food for dinner. He has had many subs for lunch as well.
- He sleeps really well. I think at 8 months we finally started sleeping through the night and it was quite welcomed!
- He has started to fake cough for attention...this started from us fake coughing, sneezing and saying Bless you to get him to laugh.
- He loves going on stroller rides and swinging at the park.
- He is very content when we play outside.
- LOVES dogs and animals. Yesterday we were at Mary's house and she has the perfect windown for him to stand at and look out. Her dog and two cats were playing and he just watched them the whole time. Then the cat sprinted across the yard and up a tree....he followed that cat with a shocked expression. The zoo is going to be fun...and I thought he was too young!
- He loves being sprayed with water. Noah's Ark will be fun too!
- He loves typing on the computer.
- He sits on his knees to play and then bounces up and down. I think he might be trying to stand up when he does that.
- He had his first black eye...as Grandma D says, "just wait til the stiches start coming...he is Kyle's son"

Cole in Action
Cole has been grunting (?) at us and we think it is because Gramma Kringel was coughing at him and he started to laugh. So, we continued this all weekend with sneezing and saying "bless you." The result has been whenever he sees Gramma, he starts this grunting...funny boy! :)
Cole loves Nala! We usually has a smile on his face when she is around. :)
Happy Summer!
