We had another ultrasound to make sure everything was healthy with Little D. It is!!! We are praising the Lord after about 6 weeks of major praying. He is in the 50th percentile for his size...so he might not be as big as Baby Ethan. We got a few pictures but let my mom take them home. When studying the pictures we think the baby has Kyle's chin and eyes and my nose...who knows! I think he is squished already because of my short torso. It won't be long til he is pushing my ribs. I really didn't realize how big he was...I still thought he was sitting below the belly button...NOT! The due date is October 12th. So we might have another shared birthday in the Dieringer family! (I am still hoping to be at week late so I can complete conferences!)
PS: I was very glad that we confirmed that Little D is still a he since we just finished registering! :)

Summer Fun
We had a great time last weekend celebrating the 4th! It was nice to spend time with the family, go swimming, and grill out A LOT! I didn't really take any pictures on my camera except a baby belly picture. So here is that picture...(I am really not as tired as I look and I think I am 25 weeks).
One of the highlights of the weekend or as of lately has been watching Kyle interact with Caden and Ethan. I might have doubted his experience with kids but he really is pretty great with them. I think he feels pretty good about himself when Caden wants to have him push her on the swing or dance with her. I think it is so darn cute! Next weekend, I will hopefully accomplish my goal of Kyle changing a baby Ethan's diaper. :)
Baby Update: We are still discussing names. Kyle is attempting to be more open-minded with the name situation. I searched through the baby name book yesterday and made a big list. It made the process a bit easier for him. I have been feeling LOTS of movement. Little D moves in the morning, afternoon, and night. Almost always around eating times and most definitely when he is getting squished. I think he might not like confined spaces like his mother. It is pretty amazing feeling to experience the movement. The doctor told us that we should be noticing body parts from the baby in my belly soon. I had a dream that the head was sticking out...only my second baby dream! Next week is our ultrasound to make sure everything looks healthy. I am sooo excited to see how big Little D is! We are just so thankful to be blessed with a child...sometimes I can't believe that God decided that Kyle and I would be the "perfect" parents for this baby.
We have been really busy lately. This weekend will be the first weekend that we stay home in about 2 months...I am looking forward to it. Even though we have really enjoyed going home to relax and play baseball and be in the sun, it will be nice to stay home! We have lots of things that we will be accomplishing before I start heading to school for the regular school year...I will give you the run-down.
1) Finish registering for baby
2) Pack and move into new apartment
3) Buy a new couch and/or chair (if you know of any great deals...let us know)
4) Refinish a kitchen table at my parents house and find chairs to match
5) Paint in the new apartment
6) Go camping and to Noah's Ark! :)
7) Go to Mercer, WI for a week vacation! :)
8) Study for CPA exam
9) Finish Grad School work
10) Finish Summer School - 3 1/2 weeks!
11) Kyle - work! :)
12) Play baseball and softball
13) Kyle read his baby book...he wanted me to add this!
14) Celebrate Kyle's birthday...his present is really great!!!
We sure have packed a lot into this summer! I think that is how life will always be from now on but we know we are blessed and God has given us tons to be thankful for.
Speaking of....
I have been really working hard on our grocery budget as it had gotten WAY out of control lately. So, this week I went shopping and have made a meal every night this week. Tonight we had Vegetarian Stuffed Peppers that were only okay. But yesterday we had some Grilled Turkey Burgers. I was inspired by Bobby Flay and I added a whole bunch of ingredients (common things that we always have) and they were DELICIOUS! I am feeling pretty proud of myself for tackling this budget thing and hopefully helping Kyle breathe a little easier. :)
Well, Naomi should be happy with this forever long post! I only wish that I had more pictures to share from last weekend because it was really fun! Which someone should post some...hint, hint!
Have a lovely...hot week! :)

22 Weeks
PS: I should really make myself look nicer before these pictures but I just take them right when I remember so you get me in my favorite relaxing state! :)
Life Update:
Kyle and I were both gone at a conference this week. Kyle was in Illinois. I was in Appleton. My conference was about Literacy and it was really overwhelming and helpful. I am looking forward to implementing all the ideas I have learned. Kyle learned alot as well but it was more like a college course in a week so he was bored. :)
Tomorrow we pick up Nala from dog school. We are very excited to bring her home and head to the dog park. I think she needs some major lovin.
Summer is looking to be very fast but it is going to be nice to go to school until 12 and then do other things in the afternoon. I will be watching 3 kids on Thursdays and doing grad school on Wednesday. Both exciting because they are great kids and I need to get to work on grad school. Kyle is enjoying baseball. He wants to improve his batting average but loves playing every weekend.
There is the update! Hope everyone is good and well.
