HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYLE!

Kyle opened his birthday presents on Thursday night before our big excursion. My plan was to get him 24 gifts for his golden birthday and I almost succeeded! Here is just a glimpse of the gifts...we still have to have birthday cake and sing to him. The puppy kind of took over his birthday but he was very excited to be getting Nala as a gift because he was always jealous of Nate getting Choco for his birthday. HAHA

Nala Elizabeth Dieringer

Kyle and I drove 30 hours this weekend to pick up the new addition to our family. She is a very lovable English Setter named Nala. I like to joke that her middle name is Elizabeth. :) It was a great trip to Pennsylvania, we would definitely go back to enjoy it instead of just driving through. Can't wait for everyone to meet her...mostly Caden cause Nala isn't as scary as Scout! haha

PUPPY!!

Kyle and I are making a trip to PA tomorrow to pick up our new English Setter puppy. We are getting a female and we are trying to come up with names for her...good thing we will have a 14 hour trip to think about it. :) I will post a picture of her when we get a few! Can't wait for you all to meet our new baby...haha!

OH YES...
HAPPY GOLDEN BIRTHDAY KYLE! I LOVE YOU FOREVER!

I love being an Aunt!

Caden was tons of fun over 4th of July weekend. I stole this picture from Naomi's blog because it is the exact reason that I love being an aunt. We had fun playing on the swings, taking tours of the yard, and painting faces. Surprisingly, Caden didn't want her own face painted! I loved hearing her say, "Hydrangea and Rhubarb." Okay...just a note saying that being an aunt is great and it is so great watching Caden grow into a little girl! I LOVE BABIES!

Camping in Door County

Kyle and I celebrated our one year anniversary this weekend by going camping in Door County. We had a fabulous time in the great outdoors. I mean this trip was so fun that I would go back again, without a doubt. :) Here is a rundown of our events....through pictures of us! We arrived in Door County on Friday. We stopped to have lunch at a Winery and we went to a Wine Tasting. YUMMY! I love wine tastings. We bought two bottles of fruity wine, Blackberry and Razzle Dazzle Raspberry. It is almost like drinking juice. After the wine tasting we kept heading up towards our campground and stopped in Fish Creek. While we were there we got some ice cream, went to the confectionery, and looked at the shops. FUN! Then we went to Wagon Trail Campground, recommended by Carol and now I totally agree. The campground was amazing. It was clean, nice showers, quiet, and just perfect. We set up camp and took a picture in front of our "house" for the weekend.
Saturday, we woke up around 8 and made some breakfast over the fire. We got ready for our day of adventure at Peninsula Park. AMAZING STATE PARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't even begin to describe how much we loved it. The day started with a 9.6 mile bike ride. Great workout and super beautiful. We got to use our new bikes and afterwards Kyle was very happy about our purchases.

After the bike ride we went on a 2.1 mile hike on the Eagle Trail. To begin the hike we walked up 75ft of steps to overlook Lake Michigan. I love those lookout things. Do you like Kyle's farmers tan? HAHAHA

The Eagle Trail hike was great. Huge cliffs and even a natural spring. Here I am drinking out of it. Yum!
Here we are in one of the caves on the trail. It really was a remarkable hike and state park. We ended our day of adventure by kayaking. We rented a two-person kayak for $16 for an hour and paddled out to an island off of the bay. Great way to end the day.
We had a great anniversary weekend. No, we are not pregnant....you would not believe how many people asked me that. :) I am very lucky to have Kyle as my husband. He is my best friend and a blast to hang with. Love you Dinger!
Now that I have updated the blog, I can cross it off my to-do list for the week.
HAVE A GREAT WEEK!

The last two weeks of life...

Hello All!
The past two weeks have been absolute chaos. I was living in Sun Prairie with my friend Nikki while I finished my student teaching. Kyle was living in Saukville working for B-Gore. Josh graduated from high school on the 7th. Ashley came home for the weekend...it was wonderful to have her home. I threw a Bachelorette party for Nikki on the 13th (I took all pics on Nikki's camera). School finished today. I am exhausted.
The job search continues for me. We have been thinking a lot about life and making the most of it...we are not invincible! Invincible was a word that I learned during my Health classes. I am experiencing the realization of not being invincible right now. Trusting God will show us the path of where we are going this summer will be the goal of the summer! :) This invincible comment probably does not make sense but please feel free to ask and I will explain all my craziness of thoughts. haha

Kyle and I celebrate our one year anniversary on Sunday the 21st. I just can't believe that we have already been married for a year. We are going camping in Door County to celebrate. We are planning on doing some biking, we got new bikes from my parents for graduation, and hiking while we are there. It should be fun. It is very exciting to be celebrating and I am a very lucky woman to be married to someone as kind, patient, loving, and fun as Kyle.

Have a fabulous week!
There are no pics of Kyle cause he was at his baseball game during the graduation. Go Saints!
